The Caribbean’s Leading Destination
For nearly two decades, Jamaica has stood as the Caribbean’s leading destination—a title earned through resilience, consistent innovation, and an unwavering commitment to the visitor experience. This foundational moment with Minister Edmund Bartlett underscores the vision we discussed, which was always meant to carry us toward our current reality: the era of Tourism 3.0.
Tourism 3.0 is a fundamental reimagining of our economic landscape. It is the transition from a sector measured by visitor arrivals to an ecosystem measured by local retention. It is about shifting from “resort-only” models to the democratization of the tourism value chain—ensuring that the local farmer, the manufacturer, the entertainer, and the community artisan are the primary beneficiaries of our national development.
This evolution is the blueprint for our Renaissance Gold 360 initiative. Through our work in the Renaissance Bridge Framework, we are mirroring this growth model, building channels that do not just move people, but move capital, talent, and opportunity directly into the hands of our local communities.
As we move toward the future, the goal is not just to maintain our ranking as a top destination, but to pioneer a model where tourism grows the nation. We are transforming the narrative from “visiting” to “investing,” and from “exposure” to “empowerment.”
Kindly join us in this transition as we move from conversations to contracts, and from contracts to sustainable wealth creation.
